Rusty's Bar-B-Que is the place for good ole true Alabama barbecue cooked on a pit.

To say we had a delicious meal at Rusty's Bar-B-Que in Leeds, Alabama would be the understatement of the year. At Zeekee, we know good barbecue, and Rusty did not dissapoint. One our favorite things was the sauce. You could mix them together and create your own taste. Sauces include white, spicy (that's really spicy), sweet, and house.

Rusty's Birmingham Restaruant Week special includes 6 ribs, your choice of 2 sides, banana pudding, and a drink.

We had to try the barbecue pork sandwich.

If you love collard greens, you will want to make a trip to Rusty's Bar-B-Que.

The ribs were falling off the bone.


About Birmingham Restaurant Week

Birmingham Restaurant Week (BRW) is the city’s premier dining out and tasting event. From fine dining to down-home cookin’, food lovers with a taste for adventure can enjoy sampling two and/or three course lunches or dinners from prix-fixe menus ranging from $10, $15, $20, $30 or $40 per person – making it easy and affordable for everyone to enjoy a taste of Birmingham’s diverse and flourishing culinary scene.

Summer Restaurant Week is a 10-day culinary affair during August which features more than 70 restaurants and a host of uniquely themed interactive tasting experiences where you can sample delicious dishes, sip wines, local beers and cocktails while uncovering what Birmingham has to dish. Winter Restaurant Week works in much the same way, but on a smaller scale for 7 days in January.

BRW also hosts an annual brunch event each October to give foodies the opportunity to sample innovative and creative takes on the mid-morning tradition. Birmingham Restaurant Week was created in 2010 to spotlight the acclaimed food and beverage culture in Birmingham Alabama. After being inspired by his experience during Atlanta Restaurant Week, James Little, BRW founder and current District Manager at REV Birmingham, approached the team at Style Advertising with an idea. Intrigued with the thought of launching a similar restaurant promotion for Birmingham, Little and Style began brainstorming what ultimately led to the birth of the first Birmingham Restaurant Week in 2010.
