Whitney Hamm

Hi! My name is Whitney Hamm and I am originally from Cullman, AL. I graduated from UAB with a degree in Psychology. I moved to Birmingham about four years ago while working at the Department of Veterans Affairs. During my first year in Birmingham I became heavily involved with local non-profits. My philanthropic involvement sparked interest to see the actual work side of non profits instead of only seeing the Board side so I started working for Girls Incorporated of Central Alabama in 2010. Recently I took a position with Zeekee Interactive. I am extremely excited about the potential opportunities that will come from working at Zeekee. Since my start with ZI we have started developing the Zeekee Spark Program (stay tuned for more information!!) which will keep me engaged with non profits at the local and national level.

Back to my Birmingham involvement… Philanthropy is very important to me and has been for some time. I am the 2011-2012 Vice Chair for the Junior Board of Magic Moments. I have been affiliated with Magic Moments since 2009. I was recently named a finalist in the 2011 Mr. & Ms. Young Hot Professional of Birmingham competition benefiting Magic Moments. I am also affiliated with YP Roundtable and the Birmingham Business Alliance, Young Professionals of Birmingham and The Foundation at Children’s Hospital.
